Magical Night - Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Once upon a time
in a warm, damp
November darkness,
when the sky was
sultry with stars,
and peace drifted
through lonely streets,
she walked with Bacchus,
silently, revelling in thought,
by the magic of the night.
