Maida Poem by Allen Henriette

Maida

I know a gal whose name is Maida
very pretty and has the scent of a flower
in Greek mythology she could have been Hera
yet she chose to be the an artistic masterpiece of this era

she has those eyes just like the Chinese
almost perfect yet it seems
lovely as blossoming roses in the fields of may
with a Goddess's features; that i must say

But now she's left to study in New-Zealand
life is dull without Her Majesty to rule the land
Hope you do well over there
That you excel to your utmost best
Only then can you pass the test
