Make Believe Poem by Minerva Agriam

Make Believe

Building a world sweet and sound,
Going round with happy sound.
Dancing to the tune of gay melody,
Gay and easy, life in this body.

Relying upon free abundance,
Life is good and everything's fine,
Magical moon, love blossomed full.
Tended with care, attention kept it bonded.

The world of sweet fondness,
Little things and happy tools,
Confered with sweet saccharine,
Flaunting lavishly decorated frock.

Idealistic imponderable fickleness,
Blissful joys hampered verile world.
A blink of painful moment,
Triggered wakefulness of the sleeping sun.

A blitzing thunder scared infirmed spirit,
Searing lashes of sinful tongues,
Sending cowardice to seclusion.
Wounded self ego, scratch the heart.

Returning to the senses of reality,
Ideaks flew, dreaded verility has to do.
Accepts responsibilities dances with the nature.
The world of fickle make believe has to cease.
VAMOOSE!
