Make Heaven's Way Clear

Sunday grows more like other days
Sodom, Gomorrah nigh
While Heaven's way seems like a maze
Through which we live or die

Seek out where souls can rise and shine
Where life is given free
On godly fair visitors dine
Where the blind, learn to see

But best be warned! Let wisdom reign
Where traps and thieves abound
False shepherds may righteousness feign
On otherwise hallowed ground

There's money grabbers everywhere
Charlatans pretending
Preaching, teaching, displaying flair
Friendly hand extending

Where churches offer wine and bread
Where singing songs take pride
Where nought of sin nor shame is said
Where thousands mass inside

Think of those in the upper room
The church of Christ we see
Where virtue's strength began to bloom
God's promised you and me

In Jesus name, seek God's advice
Let Heaven see you care
Enter churches once, perhaps twice
See what they have to share

Know the importance of your soul
Why for you! Jesus died
Through whom alone we'll reach Life's Goal
With Jesus glorified.....
