The government hiked the fees ten times
for registering the properties bought or sold.
The realtors who are party-men
buy some acres of lands for some millions
and sell the housing plots for billions
after the value of the lands raised.
A part of the profit goes to the party funds.
The government hence winks its eyes
when the unapproved lay-outs are made
and plots sold with out amenities like roads
and pipelines to drainage and drinking water.
The affluent borrow hefty loans from the banks
and buy these plots and build houses.
The middle class don't eat healthy food,
spending all they have to mend their children.
The lower class do less work for more pay,
eat at greasy-spoons, spend for drinks
and stumble towards the home
to fall in sleep sans seeing the starved faces.
