Making the ungrateful grateful
Will bring tears to your eyes
Tears of blood bleeding from the heart
– Giving without thinking twice,
Just a genuine thank you and kind gesture
would be quite nice
Yet it feels like a rat is wiping its feet and you
are the mat
Lack of priorities and feelings
Makes the prey feel like crap
You fix their meals morning, noon and night
Work ‘til exhaustion with all your might
Drive them to events like the driver working a
local cab
The basic ingredients which are love, respect,
trust and care
Sometimes disappears into thin air
Rain some patience, comfort and love
The light will soon shine from above
