Maks, Not Max Poem by Amanda Lobsiger

Maks, Not Max

Head of the Household
He tells us what to do, not vice versa
Watching television whining and complaining
Opens the door to the basement to explore
He also may get a snack down there
He yells and screams when his water is not bottled
He tells us constantly that it is not good enough
Although it would help if he drank his water,
Which he idolizes, normally, it would be clean
But he drinks it with his feet
Ah, the joys of having a cat
