Malanni, My Love Forever Poem by Paul Sebastian

Malanni, My Love Forever

Hand-in-hand I walked her
Into my heart’s garden
A rendezvous with my lover
Where time is forgotten

Sauntering along flowered beds
Plucked a red full-bloomed rose
On her left ear, I gently placed
Flushed, her tears began to ooze

Hands cupping her face
I kissed her forehead
We locked in embrace
Eyes closed, our lips met

Hand on waist, I walked her
To my favourite dream bench
Resting on my lap, she whispered
A love poem on her heart itched

My fingers combed her hair
Stroked her lovely cheeks
Her perfume swayed full fare
Eyes welcomed a passionate kiss

Without fear or inhibition
We yielded to one another
Waves of mounted passion
Surging: gave all to each other

Malanni, my love, forever!

A lovely imagery is elaborated here in this poem with the warmth of true love and a liking for her. Very well written.
