Mama Poem by indira babbellapati

Mama

Mama, why does the moon
Come with me everywhere
That's because you and moon
Are forever friends, my dear
Mama, why do the crows
Sit on the wire together
That's because the crows
Are all at a meeting to decide
How they should share
The food one finds
Mama, why to the clouds
Move on the sky so fast
That's because somebody
So far away is very thirsty
Mama, why does the wind
Touch me when it blows
That's because the wind
Loves you always
Mama, you're like the moon, like the crow, like the cloud and like the wind
