Man In The Box Poem by Reed Dietiker

Man In The Box

The sound is silent
The space is empty
Shut out from everything
Surrounded by these six walls
Living in insomnia
I get the same look everytime
I get the same reactions
I may be the only one
I stare intothe same darkness everyday
I think the same thing in everyway
Little movement
The outside is surrounded by so many locks
But Im stuck here
Im the Man In The Box
