Man Of The Home, Leave Poem by Gideon Arthur

Man Of The Home, Leave

Man of the home, please go

If you'll leave the children not to grow

And sit on gold of education

Excusing light for darkness to set in

Go, if you respect hunger than fullness

And dwell in the hut of the slothful

Singing to respond to hooting of success

And dancing to the lullabies of failure and nothingness

Man of the home please leave,

Your absence will cause the flow of sugary tears

Your death will arouse smirks and laughter

Man of the home please leave

Go in search of love

Go in search of responsibility

And come assume your seat once more

Or Go, leave, die and be extinct

Sit on gold of education, what an expressive and beautiful poem that awakes man of the home. Nice one.
