Man Of War Poem by Adam Wilson

Man Of War

I am a man of war
That people think is unusual
Because even though my job is to destroy
I take time to find things that are beautiful
I must run here, do this,
and stand in perfect poses
But I always take a little time
To stop and smell the roses
I adore all life
Whether it be big or small
Down to the tiny shrew
To the sequoia big and tall
I am a man of war
Who doesn't want to only destroy
I aspire to create
Beautiful things others can enjoy
