Mania In The Morning Poem by scott ghering

Mania In The Morning

Rating: 4.0

The flash of the sun overwhelms my eyes. I lay observant as my body shivers not knowing what my mind will suffer this hour. I persist undisturbed with expectations for serenity. My mind secures all remembrances of the past and sets for this day. My body endures letting go of the anger of the dreams of a better way.
