Manifold Stories

you'd miss the music of unexpected weather.
the thunderbolts at noonday.
the bowl of the milk white skies overturned

dispensing seas, you yearned for.
no balm for you in the mild Springs,
you'd cherish April up to your knees in

mud, the rose as afterthought.
the weather fraught you dreamed of.
blizzards at rush hour.

ice storms at tea;
the world like a wedding cake I fancied
by Christmas

viewed from indoors and the heat working.
and with inordinate provender in case.
and manifold stories,

content to explore.
