Mankind Poem by Jaduranjan Das

Mankind

I don't remember, what was the day ….?
When a quiet breeze blowing away…
In a crowded road a small child.
Crying and running then a man she finds.
Tears, yes tears came out instantly
And, she wanted to say something helplessly
But the man said "you useless beggar,
You are making my day worst than ever.''
Next day... she was found lying dead.
And the man again said, good she'll get anything
From heaven and all fade…
Now I remember what was the day …
It was a day of death of mankind
I should say…
