Mankind's Unfortunate Fate Poem by Abdul Wahab

Mankind's Unfortunate Fate

Rating: 4.0

MANKIND'S UNFORTUNATE FATE

Though most of the people will go to hell
Yet they will not listen to me
Or will they read my poems
Yet they pose here, as if, they the staunch lover of truth
In reality they are not, they all bluff
The reason is that when I start to say them the truth
They either run away accusing me that I am telling lies
Or resort to ugly debate
Or engage against me with sick arguments
I am sorry to say
Such is the sordid state
Of the affairs of mankind's unfortunate fate;

All they surface up from the depth of lies
And pose as busy as a squirrel
Searching truth as if it is a nut fallen from a plant above
But when I say
The truth is in one God
And all the prophets around the world
In this give their testimony
The atheists jump up and say they can't see Him
Nor they believe what the prophets said
And rest of them goes in hurry to hide in their burrows
I am sorry to say
Such is the sordid state
Of the affairs of mankind's unfortunate fate;

God can't be seen nor can He be shown
As He is neither like a human being nor is He like an object
He is to be realised only through His numerous signs
Spread all around this cosmos
Imprinted in beauty of pied things
And in the intellect of His grand design He left upon this entire creation
Yet like swarm of bees they swamp down
And demanded proof of His existence
Though proof is not the reality of this world to be true
Like they said before
There is nothing existed in this universe which is not matter
Later they understood it themselves
The presence of non-matter which can't be seen
Nor can be shown to anyone
I am sorry to say
Such is the sordid state
Of the affairs of mankind's unfortunate fate;

They seem they are searching beauty frantically
In which they can get aesthetic pleasure
But when I place this poem or other poems
When start to show
The beauty in easy flow
But they say
The reading is difficult and what I say is meaning less
So, I am sorry to say
This is the state really sordid
Of the affairs of mankind's unfortunate fate.
