Many Dark Rains Poem by Flame Song

Many Dark Rains

Rating: 4.3

I look outside
Thinking the rainbows ironic
Light in Dark
Dark in Light
Fire upon Ice
Ice upon Fire

Wondering how
Those children play
Dancing in the rain
As if they knew
Light upon Light
Fire upon Fire

I see
As Death takes us quickly
Painless yet dark
Evil, taking the lifeblood
Dark upon Dark
Ice upon Ice

O Death
Take us not
For we have not completed
Our lifelong tasks
How bright
How dark
In fire,
In ice
I burn
I freeze
Must I suffice?
