Marbles And Stones Poem by Krishna Shivkumar yadav

Marbles And Stones

I know these marbles well
They are from well to do families
They are expensive and valuable too
But I don't like them
First of all they are proud of themselves
They show attitudes, are arrogant
They show off as if everyone is dying for them
They are dubbed as symbols of love
Why don't you know Taj Mahal?
I do know these stones too
They are from economically backward families
They are cheaper and invaluable
But I like them
First of all they are not proud of themselves
They show no attitudes, are modest
They help poor to build house
They handle pain to give structure
Yet they are dubbed as symbols of hate
