Marital Madness Poem by Cheryl A. Caron

Marital Madness

Rating: 2.0

Marital Madness
If you will
Who turned up the heat?
Have you seen the bill?
I’ll mow the lawn
And take out the trash
You tend to the dishes
And diaper rash
I’ll rake the leaves
And chop the logs
You do the laundry
And pair the socks
I’ll get the groceries
You pick up the kids
We’ll both stare amazed
Did you see what she did?
Scribbles on walls
Crumbs on the floor
So much to be done
There’s always more
For moments alone
There’s never time
What’s mine is yours
What’s yours is mine
A hug and a kiss
At the end of the day
Marital Madness
We love it this way

Awww this is really cute. Wouldn't it be nice if every married couple saw it this way? A definite 10+++++. Love & hugs, Barbara
