Marriage Poem by Assorted Thoughts

Marriage

This odd couple
Must have been blind
When they said, “I do”
Till the end of time
One blames the other
For all the distress
Leaving it to a therapist
To clean up the mess
They argue constantly
Though they’ll never part
Such is the marriage
Of my head and heart

There are a few rhythmic glitches as I call them here. But this is good as well. I gave it a 9. GW62
