Marriage Of Convenience - Poem by Dorsey Baker

Marriage of convenience
just like the corner store
Marriage of convenience
and nothing more

Marriage of convenience
like a feather in the wind
that has no weight
Marriage of convenience
like a soft napkin
beside the plate

Marriage of convenience
where no love and affection
is provided
Marriage of convenience
where no rules of companionship
is confided
