Mary Jane Poem by Andytics mufc

Mary Jane

For i wished to be cool
As my buddies at school

I took her out for a date
Just to upgrade a useless rate

Two weeks later i made her my wife
A decision that changed my life

To a dark page my life flipped
Into the devil's path i slipped

She turned my spritual faith lazy
To my eyes bible verses grew hazy

She would kiss my lips night and day
Denying me moments to
pray

Her fumes inside my lungs she would fill
Slowly making me ill

I was blinded by her short lived fun
Never realised that she is as murderous as a gun

She infected me with lung cancer
Diagnosed too late there was no medical answer

In case you don't know
I let her go

Her name is mary jane
And she is the mother of my pain
