Math Wizard Poem by Padmanabhan Ananth

Math Wizard

She is now a skilled techie
Intern at a hi-tech company
Faraway in US West Coast
A prodigy I must confess!

When met first, she's just two
Shy kid behind her mom's pallu*
That was a score years ago
Memories that make me glow

Grew up a sweet reticent kid
But in studies true whiz-kid!
Topper in math all the time
Tech was her interest prime

Breezed through grad school
Top scores, her ambition's fuel
In City of Angels her post grad
Got her internship-n-job to add

She's such an affectionate niece
My fondness for her won't cease
Suitable groom, pray she'd get
And always in life, its very best!
