May And New Love Poem by Julian Mann

May And New Love

If you've ever heard leaves rustle
In a cool May night,
Or seen trees dance
In village streetlamp light,
You may know my love by name,
You may feel the same.

If you've walked by fields
Where sheep sleep sound,
Or in an ancient stream
A pale moon you've found,
You may know my love by name,
You may feel the same.

May and new love

Well the winds follow for a while
A rambling country road,
Till over a hedge and far
Away they go.
Do you know my love by name?
Do you feel the same?

May and new love
May and new love
May and new love
