Maya - A Haiku Pair Poem by C. P. Sharma

Maya - A Haiku Pair

Rating: 5.0

Maya's colors tempt
Trample the spotless white truth
Drunk with them I sway

A few like the truth
Dull drab and so colorless
Overlook easily

The twin Haiku poem is a real treat. Small but sublime. Maya may bring illusion to man but the truth which is the foundation of all righteousness in life can be so 'Dull drab and so colorless', is an irony. Liked reading it.
