Mccain Vs. Obama Poem by Ramona Thompson

Mccain Vs. Obama

Maybe it's really best not to waste your time on something so trival and unimportant as voting
Could't really care less anyway how this dumb election turns out
Certain that's how most of my fellow Americans feel
Anyway, I'm sure the whole this is fixed anyway so that only the rich get who and what they want
I'm not voting and would't recommand that anyone else do so either
No way the goverment is tricking me into wasting my precious time and gas money

Vemon filled snakes in the grass are all they are anyway
So rather than give my vote to either one I'll just spit them by not showing up at the polls at all

Oh how I wish I could get more you rose-colored glass wearing fools to do the same
Bicker and moan at me all you want for my choice, but no way am I changing my mind
America, the time is now to stand up and say hell no, I won't go
Maybe it's time we each were our own leader
America, maybe it's time we did away having any kind of president or world leaders at all

Interesting take as you say what many feel. Remember that not voting is a choice. Its a choice to let those who drive us mad in Washington continue to feel that we as the electorate do not care what they do. Though I feel the same frustration as you, I will vote and I will call my Congressman and make sure they know how I feel. Maybe neither your or my way will work.
