Me And My Friend Poem by Alicia Erickson

Me And My Friend

So I had a friend, I loved him to peices
We could talk for hours, mostly about feces!

I thought him quiet fine (in a non-interesting way)
But never to be mine (especially because my best friend he lay)

Our friendship grew like a flower
Although from sweet to bitter the taste went sour

We walked the line, our path divided
Until one day into each other's arms we collided

This is a tale so tall, yet a truth untold
I swear this is a dream yet to unfold.

I whispered a song so true
You could tell I was blue

Into the night where the stars and the moon
Smiled down, a friendship renewed

We talked for hours, mostly about feces
And you know, I have a friend and I love him to peices.
