I’m a poet,
You just don’t know it,
Rhymes and rhythm,
My poems,
Show you my heart,
More than I’ll ever tell you,
So stay awhile,
And I’ll make you smile,
As you wonder,
Why you didn’t know this before,
Why I didn’t show this before,
As you stand at the door,
To my heart,
And when we part,
You will leave,
And believe,
There’s more to me,
More that I can be,
Than what you see,
So stay awhile,
And you will see,
The very heart of me
