Me And My Soul Poem by Mapatha walter

Me And My Soul

me and my soul
we are two in the same kraal
but divided by our deeds
and we fight because of the decisions we make
but remain in the same home
me and my soul
when i am troubled by the earthly metters
he cries and bleeds
and when he cries and bleads
i sit down with my body and ponder until evening
me and my soul
my soul yearns to enjoy the bliss of heaven
but me; i am entittled by earthly deeds
when he is atracted by the beam of heaven
it is when the lust of the flesh pulls and sqweezes me
the lust of the flesh i me mean the evil
the evil that i do day and night
being dragged and tossed by fonication is my culture
me and my soul
only me an him or she
under the same roof we fuge
the fuge of non ending
i just wish and wish
that oneday we could be one
and share conducts
and smile togather
