Me In Search Of Me Poem by Shama Taimour Bukhari

Me In Search Of Me

It seems centuries we were a part of nature
Always together around the flowers with fragrance
Near the banyan tree with sparrows perching abound
Under the mulberry tree going round and round
Behind the old maid's hut giggling and laughing
A little far away from the truth valley lake
And sometimes above the clouds
On the steepy, flower filled hills
Running after the butterflies, catch me if you can
And one day I was lost, lost in the spiral of life
I was pushed in to a valley of death
There were hounds around, abound
Till to this day I am lost, lost and I sing
Me in Search of Me!
