Meaningless Days Poem by Stephanie Kravitz

Meaningless Days

Everyday there was a day
That was filled with wonderful memories.
In the end there was a man and his girl
They were married and were oh so in love.
His wife gave him a baby girl.
So precious and special that whatever she did
It would melt his cold heart away.
Then a year goes by and she gives him a son.
They were in love till loved over turned.
They were so happy.
They thought the could fly.
Then the man left his wife.
He left his wife
And left his children with his wife.
They divorced.
He fought so hard to get his kids to live with him.
But the judge over ruled them.
The man saw his kids
As the kids got older
Things started turning around.
They just kept on growing
Until the strength ran out.
Then she broke his heart.
And then he knew.
Right from that very start.
That their hearts were never to be.
Now things just seem meaningless every now and then
