Meeting With Po The Poet Poem by Justin Gildow

By the Hermit's mountain
I notice a hut not that far away

With me not knowing what secrets the Hermit's
mountain holds
I decide to see if anyone who lives in the hut can
help me

Inside the hut
I make acquaintances with Po the poet
Who greets me hello
And tells me he fancies himself as an eccentric poet

Po tells me he's been up to see the Mountain Hermit
on many occassions

He tells me a poem
And that there's a clue in the poem
That should help me reach the top of the mountain to
meet the Mountain Hermit

I shake hands with Po
And I tell him thank you
He wishes me well as I try to get to the top of the mountain
to meet the Mountain Hermit
