Mellow Me Meekly Poem by A. Jayaprakash Jayaprakash Panicker

Mellow Me Meekly

Mellow me meekly

I am not getting you
I am not getting you
Are you, by the way, my dame,
getting me the way you presume?

Have our years been married
More to the times of our dislikes
Or are we in the helm of things
That makes us feel deprived?

I am not getting you
I am not getting youuuuuuu.
Lovely is realizing late
What, by the way, we’re at.

It isn’t any season or time
That makes things mellow
But it’s our gentle senses:
I am not getting youuuuuu.

It isn’t that easy to love, you see
It isn’t hard either too, love
It’s the way we believe
What love actually iiiiiiiis.

I am not getting you
I am not getting youuuuuu
Are you, by the way, my dame,
getting me the way you presume?
