Melodies Of Taunting Laughter Poem by Unintelligible Susurration

Melodies Of Taunting Laughter

Swirling children
Prancing and frolicking about
'We're having a party! '

Today is the day
I shall be silly;
Become one of them

'Join us, why don't you? '
I lag behind with work
Already the exclusion
could be sensed

I am a fool
I can never become one of them

It has already been planned
That I am to be
In the corner
Listening to the melodies
Of their taunting laughter

A really nice poem. The child in all of us like to show up sometimes. We still like to laugh out loud and frolick about. Don't hold back on happiness! Thanks for sharing.
