Memoir Poem by Nina gáspari

Memoir

You
Whose face I have easily yet painfully erased
You
Whose voice I no longer hear on the other end of the phone
You
The one that´s walked away leaving me
With the embrace of the abandon
You
Whose hands warmth I no longer feel in the cold nights
You
Whose arms no longer hold me, giving me the butterflies
You
The one with an innocent smile
That had me besotted for a while
You
Whose lips I no longer feel against mine, yet I can still
Taste you from time to time
You
The one that´s changed right before my eyes
You
Whose heart was unreachable
You
The one that had me doing the unthinkable
You
The one that´s gone, and left me a scent
As a souvenir
The one whose heartbreak´s just a dried tear.
