Memories
He says 'You're beautiful, '
But she doesn't believe.
Relinquish a simple smile,
Blush a little,
Substitutes for words.
She gazes into pools of emerald,
Sees nothing but love and perfection.
Eyes don't lie when they can see your soul-
Bitter, black, drowning in worry-
And still he says 'You're beautiful.'
