Memories Poem by Anthony Degilio

Memories

Rating: 2.3

As the snow falls,
The memories rush in and fade,
Oh, how I wish they would've stayed,
In these glistening halls,
Look how the frozen water stalls,
Like a flow forbade,
And evermore the memories have came,
To feel those mindless calls,
And as the snow becomes harder,
When the wind starts to blow,
The unseen martyr,
Of which I have much to owe,
Comes back to barter,
And reap what we sow.

I like how you used a comparison of snow with that of human fraility. It had a nice flow to it also. Ravensong
