Memories Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Memories

Rating: 5.0

Memories
are a past reflection
we should
fit for size
from a rocking
chair.

When
we have
nothing
left
undone
nothing
left to do.

Life now today
is the time
to take
the proverbial devil
by the horns.

To
at least
try.

Try
to face confront
all life has
to throw at us.

With inspired courage
and humane dignity.

Memories
accumulating experiences
victories defeats
joys and sorrows
are best reflected upon
after an expanse
expending intervening years.
