A feeling of laughter
A feeling of life
A feeling of lasting
A feeling of light
A feeling of darkness
A feeling of fear
A feeling of longing
A feeling so dear
Feelings so strong
Of people and places
Of a touch or a smell
Of beloved old faces
It is the memories that freeze us
Or take us through time
Hand to hand onward
With a smile not a cry
