Memories Poem by Sherry Woodard

Memories

Rating: 3.5

My elephantine memories
Scattered on the floor
Like puzzle pieces
That don't fit anymore

I wanna go back
In time in time
My heart hurts
Where are the signs
My elephantine memories
Who, what, when, where, and why
Questions unanswered
I start to cry

Come back to me
My dear memories
I want to finish the puzzle
To be happy forever more
