Our love is gone
And the memories have withdrawn
He's gone away
And to think about him hurts each day
As the days go by
In my heart the memories lie
We were together for a long long time
I was his and he was mine
We kissed and hugged
Caressed and loved
Now we've gone our separate ways
But in my heart he'll always stay
I thought real love was meant to last
All that's left is memories from the past
As I listen to our song
I often wonder as to what went wrong
Only time can heal
The love I thought was real
I loved him with all my heart
Now we're torn apart...
