Memories Of You Poem by Stewie Johnson

Memories Of You

My Darling
Bare me a single rose,
standing alone in my mind,
seeing you disappear,
beyond calling,
beyond reason, a still figure,
restles but unmovable,
frozen but dreaming,
piercing light across my head,
breath to me your wish, fullfil your hearts desire,
touching, waiting,
in desperation,
a scream,
a vision,

Temperature rising,
silent in waiting,
though occouring,
the dance of a single feeling,
repeat,
repeat,
constant elation of a trivial burden,
heavy is the weight,
upon the rocky outside of spirit,
unable to control a single thought,
dragged around with a leash,
animal wretched through a storm,
a poster,
a picture,

and ending...
i have this rose,
upon the grave i lay,
memories sture the mightiest gaurd,
tears reveal its hidden emotion,

I cry,
I miss,
I mourn,
I place the rose,
And bow,
I kiss,
I loved,
I still love,
I cry.
