Memory's Crown Poem by Robert Glass

Memory's Crown

So many
Senseless deaths -
And much of the world's vibrancy
Is dulled away
Because it is no longer
Touched
By their spirits.
But the flame of their memories
Lives on -
And so we cling tight
To that light,
For that light
Is also bright...
And brightens our inside world -
Each interior sparkle
Is a gem of joy,
A jewel that gleams
In memory's crown.
