A pocket full of heartaches,
A rock in my shoe,
Life’s road! What’s a fool to do?
You loved me I didn’t have a clue.
I hardly gave you a glance,
Gone, that special chance!
Oh! What a price, lost romance.
Never to complete life’s wild dance!
No courage just to take a chance,
For you! Love at the very first glance.
My rejection stabbed you like a lance!
