Men Poem by K Carlton Johnson

Men

Men’s brains have a peculiar knock
Like wood or steel
Bolted to assurance

If they turn around, it is always
Hard on the clothes or living spaces,
They can fall vases, light fixtures,
And wreak havoc on closely placed windows.

Half are well intentioned,
The other half deaf, to what women say
They are born confident,
That their choice,
is for the good of all.
