Mendigando

Quero te abracar de uma maneira so minha.
Que jamais te permitas separar...
E me adonar de teu corpo com a mesma intensidade,
e vontade con que me apoderei de tua alma....

Vou te beijar de maneiras proibidas..
...so minhas...
Te atirar num limbo onde vais te perder,
onde tudo e pura paixao,
e num segundo te roubar o coracao....

Como escrava presa a mim vou te levar,
eternamente acorrentada,
neste torpor de puro amor.

Sem consciencia, sem perceber,
que o unico escravo sou eu,
esperando e mendigando um beijo teu.

E nas noites de luar,
Quando a distancia nos separe,
Vou reviver com tua lembramca...
Numa cancao perdida
Chorando um resto de esperanca...

Assim quando a lua te toque,
Quando o vento te fale,
Do amor unico que foi so teu,
Te beijarei a alma num apogeu.

Serei o sonho que se perdeu,
O calor que te aqueceu,
A brisa que te afagava,
E a saudade de onde estavas...

Serei o que um dia te leu a alma,
Que te brindou calma,
Um amor puro e sem maldade,
E o vislumbre da felicidade,

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
