Mental State Poem by Jaycee Wilkerson

Mental State

Running thoughts
A open heart
Eyes closed
From living in
The dark

Searching the shadows
Looking for a spark
A lot on my plate
Knowing I need help

Feeling lost
Who can really relate
No one really
That leaves me
Stuck to face

Losing my
Abilities
Because my talents
Are wasted
If one word could
Describe my situation

It would be patients
Because thats all
I can have
In this negitive situation

I used mirrors in the past
Just to see what I was facing
But my image was to hard to face
Plus I started to feel very disgracing

Soul feeling lost
I guess you could say
My sprit was misplaced
Thoughts filled with uneasyness
I guess you could say
My mind
Forgot to say grace.......
