Mentality Poem by Abdul Wahab

Mentality

Rating: 5.0

I was on this side of the laptop
And you were on the other

Unseen fortune forced us
To chat with each other on the internet

Initially it was a nice talk
Later it became complicated

When I said
I am irresistibly handsome

With a charming face of the setting sun

And grace like that of a morning dew drop
Holding round on the blades of green grace

Tall like a palm tree
Dark like a dusky dawn

You would not believe in
You have such an unbelievable mind

An iron laded heart
In the ocean of love

It never floats
Goes down, down, down

And sink, sink, sink
As it is easy

Easy to imagine
Easy to downgrade someone

in your imagination
to underestimate and downplay

so you easily believe in
when I say

I am the ugliest
More uglier than a crow

You get a relief
You have such kind of a punctured psyche

A bitchy mentality
A rubbish tendency,

Again you would not care to believe
when I say

come on, lift yourself
think something better for the world

better for people better for me
you let me down

you have such a beasty heart and mind
and look down and down

same is the case
when I say

I have an unbelievable potentiality
I can do havoc

Like Robert Frost
Maya Angelou
And Edgar Allan Poe

You would not believe in
You have such a smelly heart

Rotten inside
And deceitfully glitters from out side

Now I stop
To make you believe

As from now on
I strongly believe in myself.

True feelings described here as it often happens in such type of communications as mostly they rely on imagination and infatuations works instead of true feelings.
