Mesmerelda's Impositorium Poem by Aven Black

Mesmerelda's Impositorium

Rating: 5.0

Two days in the valley
With a razorblade smile
draws on a dark little foetus
With aluminum style.
Contradiction avenue
is around the corner from here
soldiers are kinda friendly
you have absolutely nothing to fear.
Draw from experience
like you sip from wine
Dress your kids
Like I dress mine.
Live in the past
Until your future has become it
Only if you never hope to steep
to this knowingly offbeat summit.

...Rendering revolutional retribution...
...Knowingly nearing the nigh...
...Confessing of corporate contribution...
...and Softly speaking the sigh...

These are the times in which heads will swing.
Heavy sleeves dropping to the floor.
So that when the mighty waves come washing in,
We'll be diving in to meet them from the shore.

When the mighty waves come crashing in,
We'll be diving in to meet them from the shore.

Love the title and adore the whole...especially that couplet, such a power packed and energising read. I do like your style very much, you seem highly inspired. Smiling by the shore, look forward to more...splashes and crashes. Tai
