Metallic Hues Poem by Saiom Shriver

Metallic Hues

Silver's surfaces blacken
Copper's orange mutates to green
Iron oxides from white turn yellow
but gold is always gold

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
(Footnote: for centuries the gold
market has been manipulated
by stockpiling, pricegouging,
and virtual slave labor in the mines,
as well as toxin creation in processing)
